Manuel Montero is founder and chief executive officer of SafetyPay™. He brings more than 40 years of experience to the company and is responsible for the overall operations and growth of SafetyPay.
Prior to founding SafetyPay, Montero held numerous high level and executive positions within technology and financial organizations. He served as chairman and CEO of Fiera.com, Inc., Latin America’s leading online and catalog retailer and was chairman and CEO for TNT Logistics in Spain and Portugal. Montero was a managing partner of Roland Berger, Europe’s leading management consulting firm and Deutsche Bank affiliate. He also worked as general manager of American Express Spain and division vice president of American Express, where he was responsible for the launch of the company’s Latin American business.
Montero holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Joseph’s University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
Barbara Bibas is founder and chief marketing officer of SafetyPay. She brings more than 25 years of financial and international business management experience to SafetyPay.
Prior to founding SafetyPay, Bibas served as president of Bibas, Inc., a direct marketing company in Spain that serviced several national and international banks and financial institutions. Before founding Bibas, Inc., she held marketing and public relations leadership positions at several multinational corporations, including American Express, Coopers & Lybrand and Inter-Continental Hotels.
Bibas holds a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Jorge Bracho is the chief financial officer of SafetyPay, where he is responsible for leading the company’s financial planning, management and compliance on a global basis. Bracho brings more than 25 years of international corporate finance experience, as well as extensive experience in management and operations.
Prior to joining SafetyPay, Bracho managed a division of 120 people at CANTV in Venezuela as the company controller where he also oversaw compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, SEC and NYSE regulations. Previously, Bracho held executive roles at public and private multinational corporations associated with Coca Cola, Procter & Gamble, and Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Bracho holds a bachelor of science from Instituto Universitario de Tecnología Dr. Federico Rivero Palacios, a bachelor of science from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (U.C.A.B.), and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad Metropolitana.
Antonio Rolando is the chief technology officer of SafetyPay. He brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in the high-tech industry, servicing the financial, retail and ecommerce vertical markets. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s technology roadmap and leading SafetyPay’s engineering team.
Prior to joining SafetyPay, Rolando led development teams in the United States and Peru that developed Point of Sale (POS) systems and their integration with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Resource Management (CRM), Content Management Systems (CMS), accounting, and credit card processing systemts for tier 1 enterprise and retail businesses.
Rolando holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Ricardo Palma, Peru and a master’s degree in Telecommunication and Networking from Florida International University.
